XKCD embroidery

The inspiration for these embroideries come from a post I saw on craftster.org, where someone else had done this as a present.  First comic is here.  I printed it onto the fabric by ironing freezer paper to it, cutting it to size and running it through the printer.

This is going to be a gift for someone who is having a baby, but I haven't decided what to put it on.  A pillow?  Just in a frame?

But I was so excited that I started looking through the rest of xkcd and saving all my favorite comics.

Here is the comic on the right.  The comic on the right, along with maybe 8 or 9 other comics, I am going to make into a quilt, with fabrics outlining each square comic.  It's a gift for a friend who I know will love it, I just have to make it.

I also want to turn this comic into a quilt or wall hanging of it's own.  I have big plans but little action. Also I wanted to change my background for my blog and couldn't really decide, so I went with something completely different.

These are great! Maybe you could make a pillow or small quilt of your favorites? That would be a crazy amount of work though.
